School meals are available to all RES and RIS students at no charge

Rockdale ISD announced a change to its policy for serving meals to children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for Rockdale Elementary and Rockdale Intermediate Schools for the 2019 - 2020 school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.

Flu Shots will NOT be administered to students

ATTN PARENTS - Flu Shot Update:
Little River Healthcare will not be administering Flu Shots this year for Rockdale ISD students as originally planned, so it will be necessary for parents to make arrangements with another provider for your child to receive their Flu Shots. Rockdale ISD regrets this inconvenience.

TAMU Recognition Night for Jump Rope for Heart kids!

Texas A&M is inviting all Jump Rope for Heart kids to attend a women's baskeball game February 28th. Please see the attached flyer to find out how you can claim two free tickets for each student that is participating in the 2016 JR4H event. All tickets must be claimed in advance and online.
