I am excited to be entering my 17th year in education and my fourth year with Rockdale ISD. I started my career in education teaching High School for five years and then moved to lower elementary where I taught First grade and Kindergarten for eight years. I have now been a School Counselor for four years.
I received a B.S. in Speech and a B.A. in History from The University of Texas at Austin and my M.Ed. in Counseling from Tarleton State University. I have been married for 19 years and have two wonderful children, Paxton 15 and Addie Klaire 13.
My two children keep me very busy attending all their activities but when I have free time and I am not at the shooting range watching my children compete in competitive shooting through the NRA and 4-H Shooting Sports, I enjoy reading, sewing, crafting, baking and decorating cakes and working on our farm. I am a country girl at heart and truly enjoy living out where I can count the stars at night and work in my yard or with our livestock during the days. As a family we enjoy traveling across the U.S.A. and have set a goal to see all the National Parks in our great country!
I am looking forward to wonderful year working with our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and as the Student Council Sponsor!
