We are so excited to kick off another year together, and we can already tell it’s going to be something special. The heart of Rockdale ISD has always been the people inside our classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, offices, and buses- and we truly have the absolute best around.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our teachers during today's Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Celebration! Together, they earned more than $448,995 through the Teacher Incentive Allotment program- a reflection of the incredible impact they make in our classrooms every day.
Congratulations to all of our TIA recipients! Your hard work continues to help our students grow and succeed. 🐯

Murray Street Church of Christ is hosting a School Supply Drive on Monday, August 10, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. in the Annex. Families are invited to stop by and pick up any school supplies they may still need before the first day of school.

We want to share an important update with our Rockdale ISD families regarding the ACE 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant.
Unfortunately, our application for continued ACE Grant funding for the 2026–2027 school year was not approved because of new program requirements that our district is unable to meet. As a result, the grant-funded after-school programs at Rockdale Intermediate School and Rockdale Junior High School will not be available during the 2026–2027 school year.
We know these programs have been an important resource for many of our students and families. We wanted to share this information now to give families time to make plans for the upcoming school year.
Our district is actively exploring other funding opportunities and available resources to help support future after-school programming.

Our admin team spent the week at the Carnegie Learning TNI Conference, kicking off each morning with math learning and spending the rest of the day gathering new ideas to support our students and teachers.
